As we have been selling Spanish properties since 1996, we have built up a wide network of contacts with local partners, not only in property sales but also in the other services that can come in handy during the purchase process, or afterwards.

Knowledge of locations and the local market

- After a personal conversation with you, we're able to assess which location will suit you best given your expectations and, where relevant, your budget. We have our own agents in various locations who know the surrounding area and local offer in detail, including the price range. Based on the client's requirements, we also expand the offer with current properties that are not yet published on our website. Each location has its own character – in some you'll find green hills, in others flatter land with orange groves, lively resorts busy all year round, or quieter spots for most of the year. The architecture also varies – in some areas there are more high-rise buildings, in others smaller terraced houses, villa developments and so on. The coastline differs too – in some places you'll find a rocky coast with small coves, in others long beaches of fine sand with a gentle slope into the sea, or calmer waters suitable for families with children.

It's a good idea to clarify all of this before selecting the specific properties you want to view.

Arranging flights, accommodation and car rental

- If you don't have much experience with this yourselves, we can help arrange your flights, recommend the airport that would work best for you based on where you live, and how to get from there to your destination. We can also arrange accommodation in the chosen location, or advise you on where it would be best to stay given the planned viewing schedule. We can also recommend local car rental companies. This saves you a lot of stress when planning the trip, especially if you don't know the area well and are flying in for the first time.

Arranging viewings of selected properties with a Czech/Slovak representative

- Before your trip, you'll receive contact details for your guide, with whom you can arrange all the details in advance. During the viewings, your requirements may change – you may clarify certain things on the spot and want to see something different from what you originally chose. Our representatives are always happy to respond to this and can arrange further viewings on the fly. During this process you'll also get to know the area, and personal contact often gives you valuable additional information.

Arranging legal and other services needed to complete the purchase

- To make sure the whole process runs smoothly, we work with partner law firms in various locations, most of which have a Czech-speaking staff member. If one isn't available, our representative is on hand to act as an intermediary between you and the law firm, to avoid any misunderstandings. We can also arrange your NIE (Spanish tax identification number), recommend and help you open a bank account with a Spanish bank, and, where relevant, arrange a mortgage or property insurance.

Further services

- For us, things don't end once you've bought the property. Afterwards, you need to register utilities (water, electricity), set up internet, and arrange direct debits for mandatory payments – property tax, waste collection, community fees, and so on.

We can also recommend a tax advisor who can manage your taxes for you, where applicable – the non-resident tax and income tax in the case of commercial rental.

We can also recommend various local companies – for renovations, air conditioning, furnishing, cleaning, and apartment management for commercial rental purposes. If you decide to rent out your apartment, we can help you with that too.

Throughout this process, new friendships are formed, and we stay in touch with many of our clients over the long term. With us, you can be sure you're not on your own – handing over the keys isn't the end for us, and you'll always have someone on hand to offer help or expert advice.
